Homewares Shipping
All homewares items are shipped within Australia at a flat rate of $15 per 25kg of weight. We use Couriers Please, Australia Post, registered post and other movers depending on the nature and size of the item/s.

All Overseas orders shipping costs are to be confirmed by us and accepted by the customer via email. We will forward you a shipping quote and only go ahead with processing your order if you choose to accept the costs.

Please note that orders placed after 11am Australian Eastern Standard Time will be processed on the following business day.

If you have not received your order within 7 business days of its dispatch from Escape Map please advise us so that we can investigate its whereabouts and resolve the issue.

Please Note: that the Customer agrees that upon Escape Map providing the said product to our chosen carrier that –
A. We will have completed our obligations to the Customer
B. A delivery time of up to 3-5 business days for all items that are in stock. For any special orders or special shipping instructions / other shipping types (non-standard), longer delivery / handling times may occur; and
C. The risk of damage to the Escape Map product(s) passes to the Customer

Furniture and Large Piece Shipping & Collection

Please note the Standard delivery charges do not apply to furniture, architectural items or large & bulkier items.

For all larger pieces, such as furniture, mirrors & architectural pieces we will request a shipping quote on behalf of our clients after the checkout process is complete. This is a service, but this does not always imply our liability for the shipment. It is very important to us that trustworthy and professional removalists are used to ensure the safe transport of your new purchase(s). We are happy to assist you in resolving any shipping issues. However, please keep in mind we cannot be held liable or responsible for any items once they have left our showroom/warehouse.

It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain insurance to protect your goods while they are in transit or storage. In the event that an item is damaged in transit any claims for damages must be made directly to the transporter or the transporter’s insurance company. In the event you receive an item that is damaged, we recommend you take good detailed pictures and keep all packing materials. This will assist in the event of a claim being made.

Escape Map shall not be held liable for refunds due to damage during shipping.

Collection In store or at the warehouse

Please note the employees of Escape Map are not always physically capable of heavy lifting so if you are organising to pick up a bulky item from the store or warehouse please organise a time and date in advance so we can insure there is someone that is physically able to help you load your piece.
